Volcanoes

The Cascade Volcanoes include:

In Washington

Mt. Baker, Glacier Peak, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams and Mt. Saint. Helens

In Oregon

Mt. Hood, Mt. Jefferson, Three Sisters, Newberry, and Crater Lake

In California

Medicine Lake, Mt. Shast, and Lassen Peak

Above is a map of most of the volcanoes in the Cascade Mountain range. On the right side is a chart of the activity of those volcanoes, which include the smaller eruptions as well as the big ones. Through much research we have learned a great deal about each individual volcano, but the two volcanoes that are constantly in the spotlight have been Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens, which I will talk about on the next few pages.
