Transcription: EARTHQUAKE TREMORS FELT HERE MONDAY
A number of citizens of Port Townsend felt two distinct earthquake tremors here at 6:18 Monday evening among them being E.A. Sims, Clyde Peach, and Mrs. Mae Plummer. The Port Angeles News also carried a story about it having been felt in that city. The shocks here were distinct enough to be easily felt and occurred about ten seconds apart. No mention has been made in the daily press about the shocks having been recorded by Pacific Coast seismographs. |
