The BSSA reports: "An earthquake was felt at White Bluff, about seven miles west of Spokane, Wash., shortly after 1 o'clock p.m. on April 18th and lasted about four seconds. It rattled dishes and windows and was accompanied by a rumbling noise. A.M. Jung, curator of the seismograph at Gonzaga University at Spokane reports that the time at his station was 1:13 p.m." There is also a report from the White Bluff Prarie weather observer of RF Intensity IV, lasting 4 seconds. No newspapers have been checked.

Transcription: White Bluff, Was., April 18, 1918. - An earthquake was felt at White Bluff, about seven miles west of Spokane, Wash., shortly after 1 o'clock p.m. on April 18th and lasted about four seconds. It rattled dishes and windows and was accompanied by a rumbling noise. A.M. Jung, curator of the seismograph at Gonzaga University at Spokane reports that the time at his station was 1:13 p.m.
