Townley and Allen summarize the weather observer's reports: "Longmire , ...Rock slides; three shocks; duration six seconds. At Summitt Inn....two shocks; duration forty seconds. At Cedar Lake...,IV; duration four seconds." They also cite 'Seismological Despatches of the Georgetown University'. Newspapers have not yet been checked.
