Individual Event Report
Event #328 - Summary, and parameter estimates with source IDs |
There are two sources of information for this event. Milne's catalog states: "An earthquake was felt slightly in Vancouver, New Westminster, and Aldergrove." The Chilliwack Progress (from the WPPSS, Preliminary Safety Analysis Report, Ammendment 23, WPPSS Nuclear Project No. 1, 1300 MW Nuclear Power Plant, Vol. 2A) says: "A mild shock of earthquake visited the valley last evening shortly after eight o'clock. There was a loud rumbling and four or five distinct vibrations were felt. Buildings were slightly shaken and loose articles rattled as with a heavy jar. The shock was noticed by large numbers of people throughout the valley." |
