Listed in several catalogs, supported by a newspaper account from the U.C. Berkeley scrapbook. Milne says: "The Abbotsford-Hunglington area felt an earthquake. Maple Falls, Glacier, Sumas and Deming in the general region also felt the tremor slightly, but Bellingham did not. D"

Abbotsford (BC) Jan. 24. (AP) An earthquake was felt here distinctly at about 9:45 AM today.
Buildings trembled as if shaken by a heavy blast, dishes and windows rattled and the shock was felt by persons on the street.
