Transcription: SHOCK SOURCE MYSTERY - DALLAS IS SHAKEN, BUT BY WHAT NO ONE CAN DISCOVER.

Dallas, Oregon, May 4.--Efforts to determine the source of the shocks felt here early today by residents of Dallas were unavailing today. The shocks occurred shortly after midnight at intervals of half an hour and awoke hundreds of persons and sent them into the streets in the belief that an earthquake had occurred. Apparently the shocks were not felt any where but within a radius of six miles from here. Buildings were shaken quite violently, but no damage was reported.
