| Transcription: Earthquake Felt at Bay- The earthquake which occurred early yesterday morning was distinctly felt by various campers at Cordova Bay. The disturbance is believed to have had its origin in the Straits of Juan de Fuca and the shock was also felt at several points throughout the city. The Meteorological Observatory reports that the tremor lasted one second and was preceded by a distinct rumbling noise. |
