Described by Milne: "1912 NOVEMBER 21. Newspapers reported an earthquake in the Lynn Valley and Blenkinsop Bay in south central British Columbia. D The Vancouver Times reported an earthquake was felt from the Fraser River to the end of Burrard Inlet on the same day at 4:47 p.m. The Victoria seismograph recorded an earthquake occurring at this time at a distance of 100 to 200 miles. Another tremor was recorded at 5:15 p.m. but it was not felt."

Transcription: North West of Vancouver 50 degrees N; 124 degrees W PST 4h 56.4m 21 Nov, 1912 GMT 0h 56.4m 22 Nov, 1912 VI-VII (?) -SB IV, pg 165; Sitka Earthquake Rec; Victoria Earthquake Rec. Felt strongly at Vancouver, and at Johnston Straights (5o degrees 40' N, 126 degrees W), Straights at Sitka, not reported at Victoria. Seism. time at Sitka 1h 00m distance from origin 9 3/4 degrees time (length of shock?) 4.0 minutes Seism. time at Victoria 0h 57.1m distance from origin 1 1/2 degrees time (length of shock?) 0.7 minutes therefore, time of shock: 0h 56.4 minutes Origin fixed from strength at Vancouver and Johnston Straights and by time record at Victoria and Sitka. Newspapers reported shock at Vancouver in morning of Nov 2, but this is error; it should have been afternoon Nov 21. Dawson Nov 18, 1913.
