Transcription: 1908 NOVEMBER 30. Afternoon. At Skidegate, on the Queen Charlotte Islands, two Indian shacks were knocked to the ground. The wave seemed to pass from north to south. Furniture vibrated at Lawnhill, a few miles north of Skidegate. This earthquake was strong enough to have recorded on the seismographs at Ottawa. Queen Charlotte News
