Tacoma - The source for this event was Plummer's article in the Tacoma Ledger, Feb. 28, 1893, which states " in September, 1891, there were several small shocks felt at Tacoma, but these were so slight that to my knowledge no record has been kept of the dates or directions."

In the fall of 1889 several slight tremors were felt in
the Puyallup valley and in the regions immediately surrounding Mount
Tacoma, and in September, 1891, there were several small shocks
felt at Tacoma, but these were so slight that to my knowledge no
record has been kept of the dates or directions.
