Bellingham.-- Furniture moved; plaster dust was shaken from ceilings; houses and buildings swayed. Deming.-- Desks moved; water spilled from indoor containers. La Conner.-- Doors on cupboard shaken open and dishes fell out. Mount Vernon.-- A few windows cracked; "most severe within inhabit- ants' memory." Port Angeles.--People left homes and theaters.
