Transcription: Distant Temblor Is Recorded in North By Associated Press Seattle, Nov. 24. -- Another far distant earthquake was recorded yesterday on the seismograph of the University of Washington, beginning at 3:20, attaining its maximum at 3:22 and closing at 3:36. The continued shocks, says Prof. Henry Landes of the department of geological research are probably due to a slipping in the earth's crust in the Aleutian Islands or some other remote region. |
